You can see them in this photo. The best place to get some is at the JY

Jeep installed the wing-windows (or SMOKER'S VENTS as some call them) right up to I think 96-97?? Correct me if I am wrong.
Major drawback: The latch gets very weak and there really isn't good aftermarket replacement latches. IF you get them from J/Y, check out the latches very carefully.
HER 91 Laredo has them and she doesn't smoke.
MY 94 Sports DOESN'T have them and Im a smoker...
I was given the third degree when I mentioned switching them. YIKES.
That saying about a woman scorned...doesn't even come close to a JeepGirl having her Jeep messed with.
WARNING: NEVER do ANYTHING like that if you value your life.

I wish mine had them.. with no AC the open windows blow more to the back seat than anything, with little air flow to the front seats. My 82 Chevy and 87 GMC had the wing windows and worked great..though over time they will whistle.

i forgot about those windows... i don't think any of our jeeps had them - but i remember our VW had them - they rocked.. the high low switch on the floor was cool until it got wet and detroyed itself.. I had one on my 66 volvo and replaced it several times before just rewiring a switch on the dash.

Do you hear banjos?
Yep, my 87 has the wing window too. I love them and use them all of the time!! You could put the doors from an XJ that has them on yours. That would be the easiest way to get them, IMHO. As far as when they stopped putting them in, IDK, I had an 89 that did not have them, but it was a stripped down model with NO options!!
