In my manual calculations yes. in mileage app, I am just putting in the odomiter, and fuel added. I figure I can calculate my mpg from that out put manually.

 

When I was driving my 89 I went off the trip odometer, then multiplied by tire factor, then added to the previous mileage value. Then it was accurate for maintenance periods too. Just an idea

 

That is what I do. I keep a spread sheet on my google docs (that I can access from my phone) and enter it every time. Right now I only have a few fill ups, as it was broken and not driveable for so long.

 

I just put gas in when it hits 1/8th which is about 300ish miles. My Durango which always gets 7mpg with 33s and 5" lift 5.9 magnum v8 seems to get me about 250-300miles out of a 26gallon tank. Mpg doesn't bother me as much as it does most people I guess lol but I love my V8s lol.

 

filled up today after my weekend trip going up and down the mountain several times got an unadjusted 18.5mpg, so a little over 20mpg adjusted. I'm not complaining at all.

 

Best I've ever done is 375 miles. Pretty much all highway from DC to RI. 19 mpg if my math is right.
