Anybody? Has anybody ever put one of these in their XJ? Im just curious as to where you mounted it.....

 

I don't have one in my Jeep, but I put one in my old Ranger when I had it. It didn't have a gauge, just an idiot light. So I unscrewed the oil pressure switch and screwed in the gauge fittings. The new gauge will probably come with several adaptors to fit different makes. Your factory sending unit is either on or next to the oil filter adaptor. Heck, if I remember proper, there might even be a pipe plug you can remove and keep your factory gauge intact.
