A fuse under the hood keeps blowing when i turn the key. Is there someone that is willing to make some money and help me out? I live just south of shakopee. It is my dd and if i cant fix my jeep i will have to part it out, I love my Jeep but im getting discouraged.

The fuse blows when i turn the key, without turning the engine. The engine turns over fine.

Try to be a little more specific. Which fuse keeps blowing?

Its something to do with spark. Once its gone no spark. It can be brand new as soon as you turn the key it blows. I've heard its a short to ground somewhere. I haven't had it happen recently. Keep tons of mini 30s in your jeep

It's for a '98 ZJ, but the fuse appears to be the same one.

Check the wiring for you o2 sensors for damage. The heater circuit for the o2 sensors is wired to the shutdown relay circuit.
Try unplugging the downstrean o2, then reinstall fuse and try......

I checked and the wire fron the o2 sensor WAS rubbing on the stabilizer bar, i ziptied it up so it dont touch anything, put a fuze in and "pop" goes the fuze. Why does a Jeep need all that extra crap? What ever happened to a starter, an alternator, an engine and everything easy to recognise?
