Me-1 CPS-0...ujoints and diif seal next
Bought my 99 XJ 3 weeks ago and had the instant shutoff issue happen 2X. Today I changed the CPS(oem dealer item). Was not too bad, took me 1/2 an hour.
Hopefully this cures the issue. I can see why they can go intermittent, the oil from the leaky valve cover can get on the head of the sensor(like mine had) and then get cruddy,. So between the heat and the crud..viola! stall.
I think today I wall also tackle the front diff leak(seal) and the outer u joints.
