96 cherokee motor compatibility
i have a 96 cherokee 4.0 motor with an auto and need to know what motors will work for it.
i know the blocks and main components will work from other jeeps but what years will just bolt in and all the plugs work with mine?

Engine: The venerable 4.0
91 and up.... I don't think the sensors changed... just the processor. Oh... nothing post 99. Those are distributor less.... don't think they're plug n play.
