I dont know if i am getting it or not. It is really random. It did it monday for like 5 seconds but i dont know if it even the death wobble. The steering wheel shooke back and forth but that was it. kinda like a wheel is outa balance or something, but it quit right after. i drove it yesterday and today and it hasnt done it again. I think that the last time it did it was like a month ago so i dont know. Were going to get under it hopefully this weekend to check things out. Any help would be great.

Unfortunately i have some experience in this.
Check the
Track bar
Steering
Drag link

For ANY movement/play. Have someone move the steering wheel left and right while it's off. Try it when it's on too.

Or could be something as simple as a tire out of balance. But krawlthis is right: it's definitely not death wobble. You'd wouldn't be saying "maybe".

ok sense its not the death wobble, it has to be something with the steerin. Maybe this can give ideas, but when goin down the road, you can move the steering wheel back and forth about maybe 1/4 of a turn or less without it moving the wheels. So somethins wore out right?

I had that problem. In fact I failed inspection once for having what they called "steering slop". (My ego was crushed). It could be your steering box. I'm being told that there's not really any adjustment you can make to fix it, or any "adjustment" is strictly temporary. But I'm not an expert & I can't elaborate on any of that. What I can tell you is that the Durango box swap cured that problem.

How hard is it to change out the steering box, if it is bad?
