On my 2000 XJ, I was trying to figure out why my pass front window would only go down but not up. Replaced the master switch, window regulator assembly, and also repaired the wiring harnesses for both front doors because some wires had broken in the door jamb.
Yesterday I did one final check and found out the if I moved the main harness connector on the master switch up and down the pass window would now moved up and down. I took a look at the clips inside the connector and "massaged" them a bit to try and get a better contact. It worked but when I went to put the door panel back on then it failed again. Move it around and it was intermittent.
Is there anyone who has had this same issue and what did you do the resolve it?
