Default Master cylinder flares

I'm swapping my 89 MC/booster for a 96'. I heard you need an ISO "flat" flare for the new lines. Couldn't find anything like that. I thought ISO and bubble flares were the same.. Will 3/16" bubble flare line work for my MC connections?

I'm pretty sure '96 used bubble flares at the M/C. You can purchase adapters to convert them to standard double-flare if you like.
