Where can one find a used, paper copy of an Owner's Manual for a 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ with 4.0. I've seen a few at ridiculous prices, are there others?

per third diagram I sent, Terminal H is Blue/ White wire.
Try ebay and like for a manual, Haynes makes a basic manual, but factory is the bomb! their is two books, a mechanical factory manual and an electrical factory manual. those two books cover just about everything in detail, plenty of drawings and sketches to help. well worth purchase even if pricey. They also in same manuals cover the YJ and SJ in the same books.
PS just now checked ebay factory 1990 Mechanical Manual $50.
You still will want the electrical manual also.
Otherwise lots of folks selling pdf or electronic copies. Just do a Search for... 1990 Jeep XJ Manual..... and you will see lots of e book type manuals offered, I am a paper guy personally. But if you have a printer and several 10p's of paper sheets, and enough ink, you can print the computerized version. At that rate paying a bit more for a real book is probably worth it.
For pages I take outside to my jeep when working on it I xerox the page(s) needed , then if I get it dirty it dont matter. I try to keep the book clean.
Here is the ebay search I used.

That Mechanical factory book is a thick book, like a good sized old school phone book thick. the electrical manual is near half as thick, at about an inch.
You get a lot of book for your money. even if I had to pay $100 I'd do it if I am going to be maintaning my jeep myself. Heck $100 is like the hourly rate for auto mechanics out here. The book has saved me $1000's.

I was lucky, I bought my jeep from a guy who made his set of factory manuals part of the deal. Real nice guy, original owner, an engineer. He kept the jeep in VERY good condition. I got a box of receipts in folders for every thing he ever had done. When he sold to me he picked me over someone else who offered more $ because he wanted his jeep to go to a good home. No kidding. He took good care of that jeep, and figured I would too after talking to me, and that mattered to him. I have bought many many cars from private sellers. What was different with this car deal is that when I called and spoke about the jeep, he wanted to know what I was going to use it for, when I went to go see his jeep to buy, it was more like he was interviewing me as a prospective new caretaker of his jeep, rather than just a sale of a used car.
I am happy
