it has to be for the 1996 model. I have found one that is supposed to cover 1995-2001 but it doesnt cover the 1996 models actual dashboard layout..

You guys don't seem to have a problem locating a thread from 2010 but are unable to find a simple FSM.

Emmanuel, Thank You. I have been looking for that specific manual but did not want to spend the money for one. Cheapest I found was on ebay for 30.00 I really only wanted it for the fuse block diagram. I don't understand why Jeep doesn't have one on their website. Seems like that would be an easy pdf for them to have.

For anyone still following this thread I have taken the file Emmanuel provided and made it text searchable since it is 300 pages. So you should now be able to search text in the file. I cleaned it up a little as well. Hope those who need it enjoy the output. If there are any issues with me sharing feel free to remove it as well. I would have expected Jeep to still have this manual available but they no longer carry it in pdf or print format.

Yeah, that worked for me too, but that is an owners manual that typically resides in the glove box rather than a service manual with all the technical data.
