The seats in my '95 XJ 2 dr. were rough. I didn't want to have them reupholstered due to the cost and I didn't want to buy covers - some fit well and some don't.

I installed a pair of '03 Hyundai Tiburon seats and am happy with the results. I specifically searched for seats out a 2 dr. donor car and they were easy to find. Fabricating brackets was quite easy and the total cost overall was just over $200. I installed a set of the same seats in my '03 TJ as well.

I couldn't find any good 2 door seats. Especially for an older xj beings the newest xj is 15 years old now.I have a 94 with the old floor design. I found a set of beat 95+ 2 door seats and stole the hinges off them for in hopes of one day finding a good set of newer xj seats. I finally found a set of leather 95+ seats , I swapped my side hinges on and then fabbed some mounts to install the newer xj seats. What a difference. I highly recommend it .

I have an 89 2 door XJ, the seats are original, 30 years old. I've been looking for fold forward seats for a long time. Its like searching for the Holy Grail
