It will not work in gear. But if yours is capable with the A12 option I would anyhow, still be a great advantage. I'm going to do this regardless but still going to figure out something safe that can be used while in gear, but only when it's in low range. Be real nice if there was a way to just set the cruise at lower speeds. Most big rigs are like this, you can set the cruise at any RPM you like in gear, at any speed, or even when idling.

Would be nice if you could increase the idle in gear and it be rigged up with a factory Ext idle switch. I do have a 4 slot bezel coming so I will have a place for the switch. But I really bought it because I picked up a brush guard awhile back. Pretty sure it is correct for the Jeep. And I might add some lights to it. If I do I will want to run them off a factory switch and would wire accordingly. This whole thing with the Ext Idle switch came about cause they go for big bucks when you see them, saw the cheap Ebay one, which turned out to not be a real Ext Idle switch (kinda assumed it was to good to be true but my curiosity got the better of me) and out of boredom because I don't have garage and can't work on the Jeep till the weather gets better. So because I don't have a life between tinkering with this and laying ground work for upcoming projects is what occupies my time. LOL.
