Default Major Hub/rotor purchase screwup...need advice

Hi. Well, I made the most colossal of dumb mistakes. I bought my hub bearing and rotor months before I replaced them with the idea that I had the later Cast style (per CJ7-Tim's http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/a...e-hubs-360959/ thread post). Well today was build day...and as it turns out, I must have had the older composite setup as it seems nothing fits right.

My question... I have Hub Moog part#513158 installed, and Raybestos rotor part# 76923 ready to go. Can I use these on a mid-year XJ?

Also... forget asking me about the old stuff... I cleaned out the old parts month ago. I ran out of space in the garage and was SURE that I had the right parts. Yes, I know... dumb.

I have nothing to go by other than it is a 6-99 build per the date.

Thanks for the help. Please ask more questions if you need more info.

Instead of swapping hubs just swap for rotors that match.

If you lay the old parts beside the new parts you'll see that the only difference is the hat height on the rotor and WMS height on the bearing. As long as you have a matching set you'll be fine.

After looking at some part numbers it looks like the two parts you have should work fine together. Like I said, as long as you have a matching pair (Rotor/hub) you can use them on early or late model.

Hub - 513158/ Rotor - 76923

Hub - 513084/ Rotor - 780444

I did the exact same thing. I ended up going to auto zone and pulling some measurements on the different rotors they had. I used this to help me out.

Well, I answered my own question, and noticed you did as well. Thanks.

I mocked up the left side with the parts I ordered, and sure enough, everything fit fine. Based on what it feels like, I tightened it up and put the wheel on.

Feels good. Thankfully I bought the matching hub and rotor. I'm going to call this an upgrade. LOL!

Thanks for the help.
