Question Main difference in jeep models?

i have a 1996 Cherokee SE, in all the pictures i see, and even on the road i see cherokee sport's, Classic's, and Country, did i get the weaker sibling of the 4? oh btw its a '96 , is there any difference in the models besides body styling?

its all about the trim level. I have a 96 se, it just dosnt have any luxury stuff, no power, no fancy radio, etc. It still has the same 4.0 that the more expensive ones had, same axles, same trans, basically it is no frills. The way I see it, thats less stuff to break!

I have NOTHING! Crank up windows, 2 speaker am/fm stereo, cloth manual seats, no power mirrors. Wait, I do have a rear wiper. Is that even an option? Or is it standard? Obviously I have upgraded the sound system, but its kinda cool being bare bones like this. I dont have to worry about the windows or seats stopping working, and I have the good options;4.0 and 4x4 with A/C. Perfect for a daily driver/mild trail rig!

My 93 sport has manual doors/lock/mirrors, no A/C 2 speakers, no rear wiper, manual trans... Probably as bare bones as they came. Though I do have a full gauge cluster and not idiot lights... but I am not sure when (if) they went to a full cluster standard.

Yeah my '85 is pretty much bare bones. No power anything (locks, mirrors, windows, steering ), no AC, no passenger side mirror, 4spd (though atleast 4x4), and the 2.5L. I like it though because there's less stuff to go wrong..especially on a 25 year old vehicle.
