magna flow cat
how many of you are using them and do they help or lose gas mileage? i was thinking about putting one on my jeep since it needs one and it is cheaper than oem. who sells the cheapest one?

ttt..... anybody have the magnaflow cat and noticed a change in mpg? mine has no cat on it right now and it get 9-10 mpg. i am looking for a cat that will help my gas mileage. the oem is $150 and i'm trying to go with a cheaper route...

lots of mid to high end... deff can feel the difference... now im wanting to try the mustang throttle body and see if i cant get alittle more air in there... and then neon injectors i guess... then im pretty much good on this motor and ill leave it alone... lol

A cat is not going to improve your mpg when you don't have one installed at all. If you had a plugged cat that would be another story. I get 9-10 mpg on my Chevy 2500HD 8.1L with a lead foot.

i am just trying to see if going from a o.e.m cat to a magna flow dropped any gas mileage.
