Default Lunch Box Lockers what carriers do they fit?

I want to install a Aussie Locker in my D30 i have 3.54 gears my question is if i install it now. when i change gears later and have to get a different carrier because of the lower gears they will carry over to the new Diff???

How about with a D44? If i have LSD 30/44 with they still work? dont want to buy stuff twice.

LB lockers are dependant on the carrier, not gear ratio. If you regear and buy the correct carrier the locker will still fit.

what i meant is since carriers are thicker in the ring gear area for 3.92 +. I guess all else should be the same....dont want to buy things twice.........

The carrier is not thicker.

The ring gear 'land' is just cast in a different place. You can take the Aussie out of a "fast" carrier and put it into a "slow" carrier (and vice versa)

Yes.

There aren't as many case lockers to fit posi units. And won't work in an open diff carrier (or vice versa).

ok well thats where it can get confusing because i guess i have LSD now (stock)? and if i get carriers for the new gears later (4.88) i would need to get empty lsd diff case? or could i be cheap and get empty Open diff cases? Its a Aussie by the way and there site doesnt state if this matters.
