Lukewarm heat? It's blowing fine, just not warm.

Wow, went out for a 'quick look,' couldn't find the goblin, and then I went for a 'short drive' to see if it was one of those problems that cured itself. Seem so. Now I'm back home.... 1h45 mins later...

fwiw, I put a solvent in my coolling system and ran it for three days and about 150 miles; then flushed the heather core. It did open up the flow and have more heat now than I did.
Hoping this lasts a Winter or two before I have to replace core.

I'm having the same problem with my '00 XJ with 129k miles.. flushed the radiator a couple months ago and replaced the stat with a 195 deg. thermostat. My heat is just barely warm and the higher the rpm's the warmer it seems to be so I'm praying the heater core is just clogged. I haven't been able to flush it because it's been below freezing here in alabama.
