bought my first jeep and it's great (2007 Cherokee Limited 4.7 liter all wheel drive 36,000 miles, just 40 k) I heard it's normal when shifting into gear for it to slam a little I was thinking about using AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID CONDITIONER, by Lucas.... will this help the transmission at all or hurt it?

I've always used SeaFoam trans condition. It has worked wonders for me b including my 4runner just last month. Really smoothed up the shifting.

I have used both. Seafoam and Lucas. Although I used the seafoam to "clean" before I drained the fluid. But I have used Lucas before and it seemed to work well. Check the tranny fluid color. Maybe drain and fill it. See if it helps at all. Then add Lucas.

Nevermind. Looks like the mods caught it already.
