So I had the typical sparrow sound that people say is from the u joints. It was just an awful sound every time i accelerated. I decided to remove the front drive shaft hoping that it'll stop. Well it went from a constant loud squealing to an intermittent squeaking thats much quieter. Will that be fixed if I replace the u joints and put the drive shaft back in, or is that another problem?

Usually the chirping comes from your ball centering yoke. But with the DS out that shouldn't be an issue.
Check to make sure your lug nuts are properly torqued. Wheel bearings and axle shaft U-Joints could squeak, I suppose. After rebuilding my entire front drivetrain, most of the suspension and rubber last year....mine chirps worse than ever. If I hose the underside down it stops until I hit another dusty trail. So trail dust in the wrong place can do it too.
