General rule is 10psi per 1000 RPM, and that's even being generous. The wife's 98 had a bad sending unit that was $30 and all of 5 minutes to install. My other 2 have this lovely habit of getting low pressure about 1000 miles before I need an oil change. I run QS 10w-40 4x4 blend with a Lucas and never had a problem. Well at least not with the lube system anyway...lol
ya the first thing i did was sending unit and oil change but it sat for a reason and thats what it was. i didnt even put 5,000 on it befor i blew it now i got my old engine 280 on it in it and im killin it rev limiter all day long

My 99 drops to 20 at idle after it heats up. Didnt start till i changed the oil. I just bought it so only gods what the PO did and didnt do to it. I had a eagle talon that did the samething. Maybe it a chrysler thing.
