So we started rebuilding a 89 cherokee for the oldest kid. Last night we discovered that the low beams wont come on. We switched out headlights and still no light. The highbeams and the rest of the lights all work.
Relay? headlight switch?

 

Check your dimmer switch on the colum,and there is a dimmer fuse,check it also.

 

daytime running light module. or DRL module for short.

 

Check your muti-function switch on the steering column.

 

yep, headlight switch. my lights were moody like that a couple of times, I even had to drive 15 miles at night one timw with the my bajas. Buy one online for like 3 dollars and do it yourself. I just googled how to and I was fine, its just one of those "see if you can possibly fit your hand in there and push that button and twist and not drop it or loose the chord" lol but if dealership does it then $200
