so i bought a 2000 XJ and the previous owner did an EricsXJ style cowl cold air intake. i love it but whenever i give my Jeep the beans (either going hard or stopping hard) the front end starts ticking. i was stopped when it was ticking so i hopped out and its loudest right above the passenger cowl area and inside the jeep behind the glove box....what would cause the noise to come from there? it sounds EXACTLY like a lifter tick but is way louder and in the wrong spot....
