Loud Clunking Noise

Default Loud Clunking Noise

When i make really hard left turns or start from a stopped position going up hill i get a loud popping or clunking noise up front. the bearing are good just replaced passenger front axle u joint along with front drive shaft u joint near the differential i have no idea what it could be everything is tight and in good condition what could it be

could be just your exhaust hitting your cross member, or maybe your track bar axle end bushing (tighten the bolt), or track bar frame end joint, or even a simple axle u-joint.

Have an assistant turn the steering wheel rapidly back and forth (10 o'clock/2 o'clock) while you look at, listen to and feel the steering components and track bar.

I have a very similar or even the same problem, and after many $ in parts I still have the problem (replaced ball joints, all steering components tie rods ends track bar bla bla bla, u-joints, bushings so on and so on . I am now just living with it until something breaks.
very frustrating
I am guessing it has something to do with the steering but that's just my 2 cents.

btommy, yours could be the frame bracket mount for the track bar. check to see if all bolts are tight. there is three on the side and two underneath.
