Hello All,
MY '91 Laredo lost power to the seats, locks, radio and clock (cigarette lighter still works) a few days ago just after I unlocked my Jeep with the power locks. I have checked several fuses that I thought would be associated with this issue and all appear to be fine. Fuses in the Jeep and under the hood appear to be fine. I am not knowledgeable about tinkering with cars in general, may have to take to a mechanic if its not a simple fuse issue. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I did want to add that on a few occasions when I would crank my Jeep, the radio would not power on. I could turn the Jeep off, crank again and it would work. But all the other things that dont have power now, still worked then.

Sounds like the mean old Brown wire on ignition switch, I just went through a similar situation. Things would work then not work until the wire totally melted out of the switch.

Here's my old switch and harness Mr. Brown got hot. Replacing this fixed my slow wipers as well, I had done everything to get them to work as they should to no avail, replaced the switch and boom they worked. I probably wouldn't have gone that route but the radio kept rebooting, wipers quit, and blower quit working.

If you able and inclined to do so I had a small write up on how to lighten the load on the switch from the brown wire. I posted it last month with pretty thorough instructions. This wire runs a lot things and can be prone to fail.
