I guess I have a problem with my u-joint. Not sure what it is but that is what a friend of mine guessed it was. When accelerating there is a grinding/knocking sound. If I have to replace it how much is that going to cost me. it's an 89. more money

I had mine replaced at the local 4Wheel Parts store/shop here in Indy, and if I recall correctly it was cheaper than $60 w/labor. I know it wasn't over $100.

 

i did mine on the floor or autozone for only the cost of the u joint in 10 minutes while taking pictures..

any ideas how much I could get for an 89 Cherokee? amazing interior and body 4wd automatic power everything. completely stock. I didn't think about the fact that I need shoulder belts in the back for a carseat when I bought it. Need to find a lil bit newer one.
