If you rent (refundable deposit) a fuel pressure test set from an auto parts store, it should contain everything yo need to hook up to the fitting on the fuel rail.

Also why do you not recommend Bosch O2's? I check with carquest on getting O2's and that's all they have are Bosch O2's. I was planning on changing mine out bc I have 211k on the jeep and they are probably due lol
There are mixed opnions on Bosch O2S's vs. NTK O2S's.

Some users of Bosch sensors swear by them. Others have tried them and had problems with them then switched to NTK sensors and their problems went away. I tried Bosch sensors once because they were cheap, but had problems with MPG so I trashed them and went back to NTK sensors (OEM sensors).

If the sensors you have installed now have never been changed they are NTK sensors, so I would say 211,000 miles worth of use is saying something!

If you are going to use Bosch sensors make sure they are Exact Fit and not the POS Universal Fit sensors.

Yea they are oem direct fit Bosch O2 sensors that I bought. I just checked around my town and seems like everyone keeps Bosch in stock so I'll try them and see what happens there. Lol. Not saying it's gonna fix my issue bc I still have to test fuel and what not.

If you haven't installed the Botch...I mean...Bosch sensors yet, hold off until you check the fuel pressure.

Just thought I'd update on my situation as my symptoms are much like yours. Today I went to the city to pick up my new fuel pump assembly, but leaving the city my poor jeep sputtered and popped then stalled out at a busy intersection. Would not start for 30 min then she decided she would. Made it home with the new pump. Removed old pump from tank to find the filter separated from the pump assembly...nice. Got new pump put in. Went from 26psi at the fuel rail to 49psi and doesn't fail the bleed down test....she now runs better than she has in a long time.

You can check your fuel pressure by a valve on the Injectors it's screws off you a Phillips screw driver and push it. In and it will either spray gas or it won't .

this thread reminds me to check my fuel pressure as soon as I can. I haven't yet and I am curious if its healthy.

A month ago I found a "hard to find" 96 cherokee sending unit.. and ordered a carter pump and put them in my parts closet for a rainy day. My sending unit reads funky sometimes... so I just went ahead and got one for the day it ****s the brick.

That's not a proper way to check fuel pressure. Mine sprayed fuel out but still had to low of pressure to give a proper fuel/air mixture. You need to get an accurate pressure reading.

That only tells you there is fuel present, not if the pressure is up to spec.

I did push mine to check and see if fuel or air came out. Maybe I should have mentioned that I did this when the engine had just started from cold and then shut off just to run the fuel pump for a sec. DO NOT do this with an ignition source nearby!!!
