So, I have noticed that my coolant revoir has been running almost dry every couple months and I can't figure out where/how I'm losing it. I have no leaks from hoses and have no drips on the driveway. I'm running at a constant temp regardless of the resevoir level...no overheating issues at all.

I have been told it could be a head gasket leak but I'm not sure what to look for. The jeep runs great, no white smoke from the exhaust, and I have no power issues. Any suggestions?

My dad has an '87 comanche that does the same thing and it did that since it was new (he is the original owner). I am not sure if your cherokee has the same coolant reservior as they did in '87 but I assume it does.

He had the cooling system pressure tested last summer at the dealership and all looked good. He believes it evaporates out the reservior bottle. I say that because he has checked it a few times and fluid occassionally bubbles around the reseviour cap when the engine is hot.

Actually, I am lying. This isnt dlundblad. This is his dad and it is my '87 comanche. I thought I would try to help you out since I have the same problem.
