Was loosing coolant with heat on...

I had a coolant issue with my Jeep. It was loosing a lot of coolant quickly. After looking this stuff up online, I decided to run the jeep a week without turning the heat on. It didn't lose any coolant. I'm guessing my heater core has a leak? It doesn't leak inside on the floor tho.

If it is the heater core, I guess I can put it off till next winter?

could be the heater core, could be the lines to the heater core (leaking outside of the cab)

Could be the POS heater valve leaking. Better pop that hood and poke your noggin under there.

I second this, mine went a few weeks ago, the plastic better resembled cardboard.

If that's leaking, just tear it out and connect the hoses together with hose fittings and seal off the vac line. I used RTV to seal the vac line since i had a tube laying around.
