Loosing battery pwr

Just noticed my battery gauge is low....and when I hit the up or down switch for my passenger window my lights dim and the gauge drops severely... Where should I start?

Check connections, have it tested, might as well get the alt tested when you test the rest of it. Does it have enough power to start it?
