Wwwwhhhheeewwww...5 hours later...haha complete..such a tedious job..I only managed to get the bottom tight and only could get lock tite on one of em...also somewhere a long the way the little plastic clip that hits the bar for bright lights broke...so no brights now...also my ignition is kinda loose for my likings but I guess its fine...tight and signals, wipers work ...this concludes my first real repair...tomorrow comes some new plugs and wires...thanks cf for that write up...also..where can I get a cf sticker??
See, just takes time and a lot of patience.
Getting a set of CF stickers is easy. Click on User CP. Go to Miscellaneous section and clip on paid subscriptions. I believe it is $25 for a year, now. You get your stickers along with a few other CF goodies on your profile. The blue lettering, CF supporter banner, etc.

Search and I shall find that I have a mess on my hands! After looking at both Travis's write up and Free's link and reading how it took over 5 hours to do this... Is there a easier way to do this? GGGRrrrrr! This all sounds soo scary!
Its really easy I've done two of them one in the car the other I pulled the colunm out due to other problems. The tilt pins can be a pain sometimes to get out, the springs are easy you get a 1/4 flathead push and twist and it pops out. I can usually start to Dinah one in about 30/45 Mins but I can also get into a ignition switch in 5 Mins.
