loose headlight???
im having trouble with my passenger side headlight it is constantly pointed much higher than normal and if you put your hand on it you can move it a lot...anyone else run into this problem?

yes that spring attaches to the headlight adjustment ring. theres a little notch where you can tell where it goes, just grab a screw driver and put it on there

same problem with mine too... headlight is just loosey goosey.
I have new to me chrome retaining rings on them i pulled off a 99 cherokee with nothing wrong with the front end so there straight as can be.
im thinking with mine its the actual headlight bucket the bezel screws into it...
i got a decent amount of play. it sucks.

now that I think about it I think there is actually two springs on it. one on top close to the middle, and another on the bottom close to the corner nearest the grill. but I did remove a 2000 and a 95 back to back, may have only had one on one of them...
