loose headlight???

Default loose headlight???

im having trouble with my passenger side headlight it is constantly pointed much higher than normal and if you put your hand on it you can move it a lot...anyone else run into this problem?

I changed my headlights last week are you sure the chrome rim is properly located in the slots? mine were a PITA to relocate !

yeah but they come out super easily...theres also a loose spring in the housing behind the bulb is that supposed to attach to it???

No springs in mine apart from the spring that holds the bulbs in.

yes that spring attaches to the headlight adjustment ring. theres a little notch where you can tell where it goes, just grab a screw driver and put it on there

same problem with mine too... headlight is just loosey goosey.
I have new to me chrome retaining rings on them i pulled off a 99 cherokee with nothing wrong with the front end so there straight as can be.

im thinking with mine its the actual headlight bucket the bezel screws into it...
i got a decent amount of play. it sucks.

now that I think about it I think there is actually two springs on it. one on top close to the middle, and another on the bottom close to the corner nearest the grill. but I did remove a 2000 and a 95 back to back, may have only had one on one of them...
