I have a loose door handle on my 2 door XJ. I took the inside door panel off, but with the window up or down the bottom part of the glass is covering the nut I need to get to. I thought fixing this would be pretty straight forward and simple, but I can't seem to get to it. Is there some kind of trick or approach you folks have found?

Also, how do you disconnect those thick wires that go to the lock? So I can take the inside panel off totally and lay it down. Having to hold it up while I was working alone was kind of a pain.

Lastly, my hatch lock has something going on with it where I have to push the whole hatch down to pop it open. Is there some way to adjust the mechanism there so I no longer have to do this?

I could survive with none of these things fixed, but I really enjoy learning how to do new things. Thanks in advance for the replies.
