Question looking for some lift advice

I have a 96 xj and I'm looking to purchase a lift for it. Don't know which kits are good. I'm looking for complete kit. Does any one offer a kit that includes
everything needed? Like brake line extensions shocks. Any little oddball thing you need. I'm only looking for a 3 inch lift. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

For 3" anything "extra" will vary Jeep to Jeep. I have 4.25" or so and did not have to do anything other than relocate the rear brake lines. Fronts did not need to be moved at all. I do need to do something with my track bar still- looking for a used one (or ordering one from E(vil)-Bay for $105, because at 4+" I'm not sure I can center it by redrilling the stock mounting bracket.

RE has a very nice 3" lift. Keep in mind that you will usually get a better price on RE stuff by ordering through one of their dealers. In that regard contact Jeepin Jason here, he's a supporting vendor of this site and a great guy to deal with.

aal would be cheaper, but if you have the money for replacements, go for it...either one would be ok but if going with the aal, make sure your leafs are in good condition

Add-a Leaf will end up sagging after only a short period of time, spend the extra money and get full packs. The RE 3.5 superflex kit is every thing you will need, and it gives you a lift that is done correctly. You will probably need to do a T-case drop to get rid of some driveline vibrations, but thats common.

RE only does by the .5 inch. like 3.5", 4.5" etc. pretty much most kits you will need to buy a couple extra things. look at rusty's too, i've never dealt with their suspensions but i think theyre pretty good(unlike their steering). for 3" you may need to relocate the front hardlines and buy a new rear line. i've seen people run 3" kits with stock tracabrs for long periods of time and be fine, couldn't hurt to get and adjustable one though

Definitely spend the extra $$ for full rear leaf packs. You'll be glad you did. Rough Country is pretty much impossible to beat for a good quality full lift kit for the best price.

I bought the extreme (633x) kit from rough country... Mine came with stainless steel brake lines and just about everything else i needed.

Their are a ton of diffrent brands... I think the most popular three would be, Rubicon Express, Rustys, and Rough Country...

I would strongly advise you to get full leaf packs and not just an AAL (add a leaf)... because they are not exactly easy to take off and you will end up doing it twice because the AAL will sag within months.
