Dang Gina... $55K??? I had a $19K patriot I was abusing off road, and decided to sell and get my XJ because I was dying with every scratch and bump... Sell the JK if you are so afraid to take it off road. No way you'll get your investment out of it, but why pay THAT much money for something that you don't even use?

I'm not afraid to take it off road. It more that I'm nervous or apprehensive to really push it right now. The money lost is hard to swallow for sure. What I'm not willing to do is take less than KBB at least. I might get lucky and get close to what I want and I'm in no real hurry to sell it. I might miss out on a good XJ in the meantime, but I don't want to have $60-65K worth of vehicles either. I'm shooting for the '99 right now, but if I can't get that one right now I will just keep looking.

Here is the 2000 with less miles and overall better condition I think.

Im selling a 97. Manual windows. LS 3.55 rear. Some factory armor.

It needs a leak fixed in the front windshield and an instrument cluster thats out due to the leak. Runs and drives great. Has a yard motor in it that runs fine. 4x4 works great and already has a 2" lift. Can drive it and off road it some for fun while test driving.

$2000 for it and the clean title. Just needs what was mentioned and cleaned up a bit. Body looks good too. Couple small dents barely noticeable. Oh and its white. lol

PM me if interested.

I found a 2001 also but I'm not sure how concerned I should be with 144K and possibility of a cracked head in future.

So currently my three choices are:

'99 White with 133K. It has the worst paint of all of them, but it might be better because I won't care if its not in a garage which saves me money at my apt. $7K OTD.

'00 Blue Limited with 109K. He wants $8500 and it looks to be best in pics.

'01 Blue with 144K. $6750 which I'm going to look at tomorrow.

Of the three I know the '99 is most desirable, but it also has worst paint and seems to have plenty of rattles. Are the '00 or '01's even an option with a '99 available??

'99. No 0331 head to constantly worry about.

I'm looking at a '99 tomorrow with 125K. It has a 3" lift with new tires and wheels. Nice stance that should get me by for a year or two until I decide if I want to mod it further. Hopefully I can make a deal on it tomorrow.
