BFG A/T 31x10.5-15
MANY people including myself have them. While not the quietest tire on the market it's far from the noisiest.

If you suspect a noise, have it diagnosed by a mechanic you trust.

I've got the same tires (well, mine are 30's) and I have considerable hum on the road... also not sure if it's the tires or the bearings.

Compared to a lot of tires out there, the BFG A/Ts are actually pretty quiet I'd say

Who has tires like that?
Do I have to live with tire noise or should I diagnose wheel bearings?
Thanks.
.
Well, put it up on jacks and spin the tire. (see youtube for wheel bearing videos). Even if you don't hear noise, if you hold onto the spring while spinning the tire, you will feel the bad bearings grinding. Also, on the videos, you can grab the tire and push pull it. If you get movement, time for further confirmation of what's bad. I had a wheel bearing disintegrate on me on the highway. I had ignored some occasional grinding (it sounded like a dog growling) in my front end, it was not constant and went away, so I didn't pursue it. Pretty much melted my drivers side front end parts on my 4x4 Dodge Ram truck.
Listen to your vehicle, it talks to you, it tells you when it's not working right.
You hear noise, but don't know if it's the tire or bearing. That's a good thing to find out which it is. Else it could cost you a huge amount of money for parts and even an accident if your wheel collapses when your wheel bearing goes out.

Tire noise usually changes a bit on different types of pavement, bearing noise won't.

What?..................what did u say? Speak up.

We run a pair of 235/75/15 BFG AT KOs on the rear in winter........can't say I've noticed a noise increase, but then I've been told I'm deaf in one ear and can't see out the other.
