Default Long arm shoot out!

Okay there are several company's out there that have long arm set ups. Rubicon Express, Rusty's, Clayton, TNT Customs, Teraflex, and probably several others. I know this topic has been beaten to death on other sites but what do you guys see as the pros and cons of each set up. My goal is no more than 6.5" of lift and 35" MTR's. I'm leaning towards the RE or the TNT because of the belly pans and the lower COG. Please let me know what you guys think. My budget for the lift is right around 2k. Also if some of you don't like the kits and would rather piece together your own kits please tell me what you would use and why!

If it's 2K that rules out the RE, Me I say go Clayton's or go home, no one builds a better long arm kit out there.

I run a Gen. 2 Rock Krawler 3-link with Rubicon Express coils and I love it. I'd probably go with TNT if I had to do it over and had more money. I've got no complaints though.

The money isn't what is stopping me. I found the TNT and the RE for under $2100. Rustys was an option at first but the more I hear about their bushing going bad and trackbars sucking, i'm steering away from them. Right now it's between the TNT and RE and I can't decide which one. Clayton is up there also but I am unsure of welding to my frame. If I got the Clayton set up then I would have to install some frame stiffeners. Anymore thoughts on this?

Do you mean BDS? I thought that they were a little expensive IIRC.

BDS has an unbeatable warranty so if your gonna be beatin it it might be the way to go. if u already had a 4.5" RE set up you could get the LA upgrade...

I don't really plan on beating the hell out of anything. As of now this will still be my DD. I just want a LA system that is somewhere between 5.5-6.5 inches of lift. It will not be a deticated trail rig and will not see hardcore rock crawling. It will be a moderate trail rig with the capability to get over many obstacles.
