Default lockers on snowy roads?

i am seriously thinking about getting a lockright locker from rustys this week. they say it has some slip for turning, but i want to know if anyone here has one and drives on icey and snowy roads. what happens?? how does it act? i need to know how my jeep would act on ice or snow before i get this since its my DD and about 90% on the road

if you drive with your head, not your foot, you will be fine.

in a front application people say "OMG IF YOU TAKE A CORNER IT WILL GO STRAIGHT"

which is true if you give it throttle when in 4wd trying to turn.

I have had zero issues in the snow, with a locked rear i can get around most corners in 2wd no matter how the snow is, if its really terribly bad, simply slow down and make the corner.

Quoted for truth......

You have to remember that if you are on the gas the locker tries to stay locked. If you are careful around the corner it will unlock and operate correctly.

if you do decide to get a locker get the aussie instead of the lockrite. it is the same thing but aussie is about $100 cheaper
