No. It has the same number of splines at the spider gears and hub.

 

oh, and with a locker, and the shaft disconnected, it will turn sharp to the left, but a right hand turn radius is wider than a school bus. you'll have to make 3 point turns every time you turn right on a trail. it's a pita really.

but for going straight up a hill, locked both sides, it kicks a$$.
