91's have the disconnect axle

for a few years they put a vacuum
actuated lever to connect the two peace axle on the right side, i think they did it to save on mpg. it was a bad idea and stopped.

Not all 91s have the disco on ones with the 231 t-case. If you have a 242 it will be a non disco.
