Load carrying struts?
So, I tow a 20ft trailer with up to 1000lbs on it pretty often.
I got some rear load carrier struts for my 92' S10. They are coil overs that provide an extra 500lbs of load capacity each.
I'd like something like this for the Jeep but I can not find anything.
Do any exist? Will a 92' S10 rear strut fit on Cherokee? Im not sure if the bolt hole placing is difference, or maybe one strut is longer than another, but I am going to be doing no more than up to a 2" lift depending on what the wife thinks. Might become too difficult for her to get in the vehicle as she is 5ft/2in. So this may help it fit if I did the lift?
Otherwise, Im just going to be getting some Nitro 9000 struts in the back I guess unless there is something better for a tower? They are cheaper, so if I blow through them pretty fast from towing it wont be too much of an issue money wise. Just extra labor pains on my part.

Some may say it's a band-aid and that you need new/stronger rear leaf springs but here ya go:

i put them on my 01, i have sagging springs, and it was faster and cheaper to order these to band-aid the situation at the time, they work pretty well, my fenders arent chewing on the tires anymore over a bump, or with a load, they wont fix saggy spring, but they do what they say they do, which is allow a heavier payload, but its a little stiffer ride, but no biggie imo

Sweetness. Thanks for that. Was looking around and couldn't find anything. Will be putting that in my bookmarks.
I need new leafs on the Jeep too anyways, so I will get some beefier ones. The ones on there now are almost quit literally frowning at me.
Getting something like these will make me feel a little better while towing, wont sag as much, and won't blow through some other struts that are not made to tow anything.
Actually, once I get new suspension on the Jeep and redo the brakes + brake controller, I may end up towing around a 2700lbs tracktor if I get some odd jobs to do with it. Can't use my truck as I just have a 2000lbs rated bumper hitch and my 2.8L motor can barely pull around a 20ft trail with a 850lbs lawn mower.
