I have a high altitude active drive2 Cherokee 3.2. Several times now under exceleration my car goes into limp mode displaying a message of check engine control. Took it to the stealership who has replaced the throttle body/ throttle position censor, didn’t even make it twenty miles before the same issue happen. Second time at stealership they replaced the PCM and updated to latest software, lasted about 40 miles and getting up on the highway the thing went nuts and went into limp mode. It’s getting expensive replacing these high dollar parts and finding that it’s wasn’t the issue. Has anyone had this problem and if so what was the culprit? I only have the limited warranty left and many parts aren’t covered. I have about 50,000 miles on it.

Your Cherokee is a KL not an XJ. Here is the KL forum https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f87/
You should not be paying for the dealer to throw parts at your problems. Don't pay till it's fixed and get your money back.
