Limited slip diff upgrade.
Some buddies with nissan rigs told me they have added two disks in the clutch packs to make it tighter, and the handling is almost like a spool, has anybody done this before on a trac-loc carrier?

Well it's not exactly like a spool, under heavy torque you still have a little of slip, IE on asphalt and rocks, but most of the time it should be like 90% locked.

should be able to find a used one on ebay for like $50. i think the even sell new ones for like $90. you can try it but i was advised not to. and my advisor i pay atention to, he is a smart kid. I wish he would of said to do it it would have saved me from buying a $300 aussie. But with an open carrier you can uninstall or re-install when ever you want with basic tools in about 2 hours (lunch box style anyway)

does your trac loc work now?
you can replace all the clutches in it and get it to a much better performing level, but it won't be a 90% lock like youre saying.
honestly if you don't care about them wearing down faster then what the hay.

Yes i've changed them once but they don't last long, i used the LSD oil from castrol and it was a little better but as soon as i did some abuse it was useless.
