Easy way is to look in glove compartment. If it came with one from the factory there is usually a decal warning you about changing tires with lsd. Or you can lift the rear and spin a tire,if you have one and it's good, the opposite tire will turn the same direction

If u have a lsd and both wheels are off the ground, both wheels will most likely turn the same direction even if the lsd is shot. The factory test method is one wheel on the ground, one wheel off/up, attach the special test tool to the wheel off the ground and apply a torque wrench.

also on the diff cover (if it hasn't been removed yet) there should be 2 metal tabs bolted on to it instead of one, one of the tags will have the seriel of the axle you are running and the gear ratio on it, the second tab will say "use limited slip dif fluid" on it. so it you have two tags, pretty good indication it is there. or you could always pop the cover and have a look, best way to tell, cause your LSD from the factory could be worn out (like mine was) and then the wheel trick would not work.

Also, the far right of the pass. side axle tube may still have a white sticker that says Trac-loc , mine does anyways. I also read somewhere that all LSD's came with a full size factory spare.
