Default limited slip...

What sort of an additive do I need to add to a limited slip diff? Also does some gear oil already come with the limited slip additives? I know that Valvoline Synpower states on their site that it has an additive to prevent LS chatter in limited slip diffs..Just not sure if that's what I should do or add something else.

I had a trac loc in my 1991 (Chrysler 8.25) and I used the Sta-Lube brand stuff that already had the additive mixed in. Never had any issues.

Read the label, I know a ton that are out there have the additive already in it. I usually use those (mine are open pigs) and throw in some Lucas (Yeah, what can I say? I love the stuff.).
