Ok lol i just got a 92 cherokee with a 4.0 HO im getting spark and it seems in a way like it wants to start but not.. My bud has a jeep to and asked me if the fuel pump was making a winding noise but it isnt it sounds like it justs clicks and nothing else is that normal or is my fuel pump bad? O o when i push on the thing on the fuel rail it dont have alot of pressure at all Please help lol

 

When you turn the key you should hear it kick on. If you have very little pressure, then it is most likely the pump. I had to do mine a couple years back and the darn thing went out again last year. You may want to bypass the relay and make sure it's getting power but if you hear it kick on but it's not pressurizing, there is a good chance it's the pump. Also, it seems obvious, but make sure the filter is good first.

 

ok i will check that out tommrow it hasnt had gas in it a while so maybe somthen happen in that time just gotta work out the lil stuff thank you for the reply
