Lights on when engines running

Hey all,

I have a 94 4.0 5 speed, and I was wondering if anyone else has or has had the lights stay on when the engines is running?

This isn't really a big deal, but I'm slowly trying to correct all of the p.o's brilliant repairs, and there seems to be no end of them.

Any help or links would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Headlights, low beams. Light switch doesn't shut them off while running, other than that it works fine

Sounds like you have daytime running lights.

Is it a model for canada, I beleive that is the law over there, not 100% sure,and I dont beleive any state here has that law? Name: think.gif
