What's considered all the time? Like during the day, too? That'd be ridiculous, lol. They'd only be on at night, especially when I'm driving down pitch black roads.

Oh, ok cool. I'll try the Navigators out first. See how I like them, and like having them on my bumper and whatnot.

Thanks!

I wanted to bump this because I'm having trouble finding a pair of lights. I'm going to mount two lights on my bumper and I would like to use them when driving at night. I'd probably have them off in the city since it's already lit. I keep coming across fog lights, and I don't want fogs, I want driving lights. I was thinking square, but I'm going to go with round. I also don't know where to buy lights for a good price. I found sites like JCWhitney, and I'm sure there are other places lol.

Any recommendations?

Fog lights shouldn't effect another driver if.they've been aimed appropriately.

Yes, but why would you use offroad lights as fog lights? That's not what they are for. Those BAJAs are fog lights. That's what they are created for.

Will me being at 6.5'' make a difference with how the lights are aimed? What's a good, decently priced set of round driving lights? Also, if I upgrade my headlight harness, will that improve the headlight quality at all?

Well were not exactly talking about fog lights here. True fog lights are yellow to help see in heavy fog. Driving lights(like what XJ have stock) have pattern the disperse the light low and wide. The lights he is looking at are "offroad" lights, that includes the BAJA lights on my Jeep. They project light straight, far, and wide.

These are the the BAJA "fog lights"

Notice how not only are they yellow, but they have a completely different pattern

If those won't work, what's the next best thing?

I mean for $15 they look decent haha. I don't want to spend a lot or get flashy looking lights. Just so they're not that big of a target to people. Not to mention possibly getting broken on the trails.
