Expensive route would be hella 500's or kc slim lights.

Cheap route, you could do the harbor freight lights.$30 a set. $5 for a relay. What I did.

i think hellas are over rated. i had a set of 700ffs and someone backd into me and crackd one of them. and they wont send me a replacment without buying a brand new set. i put some pilot round navigator lights uptop on the rack, i bought them for 30 a set and they work just as good if not better then the hellas

Why would they send you a free one for someone else backing into it?

OP, if you want some good, cheap foglights to mount on your bumper....Walmart has some

http://www.walmart.com/search/search...nstraint=91083

However, you get what you pay for and the first time they are submerged they will most likely burn out. ( I had a set on my first jeep and they didn't make it a week) I have Hella 500s now and while they maybe "over rated" they are water proof and bright as H***. Also if you look on ebay you can find them cheap. I have four and have less than $75 bucks in all of them.

I run a low cost Blazer brand light available here at Canadian Tire hardware store. 60W each, amber fogs have wide beam, clear driving lenses are long tighter pencil beam, run a combo for good coverage and contrast. I use the type with plastic housings, mount with stainless fasteners. 3rd winter on this, no rust, only failed one bulb and glass replacement. There's 25 amps on the roof so I run two 12ga supply wires from twin (30 amp each) relays, relays triggered from one dash mounted toggle. Relays supplied from new auxilliary lines to the battery.
Roofs are mounted thru drilled stock roof bar, note the stock bars are insulated from the body, you need good heavy ground wire also, I ran two for redundancy. No rust, cheap, easy to service, like driving into the sun coming at me (be kind to other motorists), like daylight from the drivers seat. PS running sylvania silverstars headlites also. I think the Blazers are in line with the HarborFront products available to you. Roof Lazers, how do we do it? Volume.

Run what I have set up. I Have Xentec 6000k HIDs and projector beam housings that only cost me $65 with shipping. Visibility has never been better. Another option is to run KC 27 series lights in the stock fog location. I have them on the top of my bumper and they should fit where you want them to be. They're pretty bright aswell. The only downside is that they cost $120

You may want to consider a light bar on the roof
